when i was little, i wanted to be so many different things when i grew up.

i wanted to be a dancer, a singer, an actress, a vet, a doctor, an interpreter, a zoologist, a firefighter, president, designer, writer, park ranger, international tour guide, language teacher, baseball player, women's health educator...the list goes on and on...and everyone, teachers, family etc egged me on - i had so much potential, i scored off the charts on every test, i could be whatever i wanted to be...

so why is it i went to school for three years and incurred a blasphemous amount of debt for the one profession that was never on the list? i mean never. how did that happen?

and how is it i still don't know what i want to be when i grow up?
