ahhhhh...went to the beach today. i swear the beach is the most theraputic place in the universe. it isn't a real beach, it's on a lake - but the lake is so big you can't see to the other side, so i can sorta pretend that i'm at the ocean. minus that wonderful salty feeling. and it doesn't smell as coconut-y. but i'll take it.

i just lie there, my music playing, the sun beating down, ice cold water from the cooler, the sound of kids splahing, occasionally taking a dip when i feel like it...it's my idea of heaven - the one place where i can really tune myself out and just be empty and peaceful.

and then i got a flat tire on the way home. fuck.
