11 days sober. i know, i can't believe it either.

i asked a woman to be my sponsor at a meeting last night. every time i've done this before i've never gotten a sponsor. i've always just told myself i can do it on my own. this time i'm determined to do it right. i was so nervous asking her, you would have thought i was asking her to marry me or something. the tough thing is, they tell you to get a sponsor right away, so you don't really know anyone. you just gotta pick someone who seems ok and go for it.

i also cried a little at the meeting last night. crying in public blows big monkey balls.
